White Dental Fillings

Bronx Dental uses white dental fillings to restore teeth damaged by dental caries and tooth decay, providing a natural look and feel of tooth enamel. Dental caries is caused by microorganisms that convert sugars in food to acids, which erode the enamel of a tooth, creating a hole or cavity. The dentist cleans out the decayed parts, then fills the opening to protect the structure and utility of the tooth, as well as restore the appearance of the tooth. White dental fillings are a synthetic composite, which is made to match the color of your teeth, blending in with your smile. White dental fillings are also strong and durable and will enable you to restore your smile to its natural brilliance. Contact Bronx Dental if you have any questions about white dental fillings.

Dentures

Our restorative dentistry practice at Bronx Dental provides dentures for patients that are missing most or all of their teeth. Complete dentures, also called full dentures, can provide a lasting, comfortable solution. Your appearance and your health will benefit from replacing missing teeth. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag, making a person look older. If you think you might need dentures, we invite you to schedule an appointment here at Bronx Dental so we can evaluate your specific needs and recommend appropriate treatment.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is performed when the soft inner part of a tooth, known as the pulp, is injured or becomes inflamed or infected. The most common symptoms of damaged pulp include pain in your tooth, and swelling and heat in your gum. The pulp provides nutrients and nerves to the tooth and runs like a thread down through the root. Diseased or injured pulp will die, and if you don’t remove it, your tooth will get infected. This could result in the loss of the tooth. After the dentist removes the pulp, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. Most of the time, a root canal is a relatively simple procedure with little or no discomfort involving one to three visits. Best of all, it can save your tooth and your smile! Contact Bronx Dental if need root canal therapy.
